Reservation Policy

Making a reservation

After we receive your booking request we aim to contact you within 24 hours. In order to secure your booking we are asking for a deposit payment (30 % of the total value) by bank transfer within 7 days (3 days for last minute bookings with checkins within the next month).

Confirmation

After payment of the deposit you will receive a confirmation email. We only guarantee your place after receipt of the deposit.

Changes

If you wish to change your booking after it has been confirmed e.g. guest names, date changes, etc, we will try to assist but cannot guarantee to meet such requests.

Payment Options

Bank Transfer of the full amount or 30% deposit. The remaining amount is due in cash/credit card at the time of your check-in. Please note, credit cards incur a fee of 3%.

Cancellation policy

After confirmation is made (as explained above) we will accept the cancellation under the following terms:

In order to secure your booking you need to pay an advance deposit payment of 30% of the total value as described above. The remaining amount is due in cash at the Maverick.

In case of cancellation of room bookings, the advance deposit is non-refundable.

The above cancellation terms do not apply in case borders are shut due to Covid-19 and travel to Portugal is not possible. In this case, the amounts paid can be transferred to future bookings until end of 2021. No refund is given.

Accommodation policy

Check-In is between 15:00 and 21:00 and Check-Out is until 11:00.

Besides the hours mentioned above, Self Check-In is possible at anytime if the client provides the date and hour of the arrival.

Minimum age for shared rooms / dorms is 18 years.

Villa Rentals

For Villa Rentals, the remainder of the rental price is due until 2 months prior to arrival, also by bank transfer. Failure to pay the remainder amount equals to cancellation, in which case the initial deposit is non- refundable. If cancelled until 45 days prior to arrival, 30% of the total rental price will be refunded. If you cancel after 45 days prior to arrival, no refund is given.

A damage deposit of €300 is due in cash at time of check-in and will be refunded at the end of the stay should there be no damage to the villa furniture and installations. The villa has to be left swept-clean, beds stripped and trash emptied at check-out. All food needs to be taken out of the villa. We will deduct an extra cleaning fee of €50 per villa from the damage deposit if left excessively dirty.
